2016 STATE CONVENTION
by Ed Richards
The 72nd AMVETS Department of Georgia was a great success. The Delegates attending approved resolutions to be brought before our National Convention in Reno, Nevada in August 7-13-2016.
The AMVETS Georgia State Executive Committee resolved to make Legislation, Membership and AMVETS programs a Georgia priority for the AMVETS 2016-17 year. The AMVETS SEC also resolved to charter new Sons of AMVETS, AMVETS Riders and AMVETS Ladies Auxiliaries in AMVETS Posts that don’t currently have any of the aforementioned Units. Greavu-Blackmon AMVETS Post 9 will play a role in this effort. The AMVETS 9 Post Officers ask that all Post members help our Georgia AMVETS Family help make our Department of Georgia become the number one Post in the United States and its Territories.
Working together as a Team, we can this happen. Lots of things happening with AMVETS 9.
